YOU...Crack Me Up

I've got a card up on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog today and wanted to share with you some extra details here.  This month at 3 Girl JAM, we are challenging you to use yellow, orange and green in a creation. I didn't think I'd love this color combo, but I do!  Here's my card with yellow, orange and green!

I used some of the 3 Girl JAM distressed lace.  If you haven't gotten some yet, you should.  I cannot begin to describe how pretty this dyed lace is.  In each package, you get a variety of sizes, patterns and shades.....and they are SO pretty.  I also used 3 Girl JAM daffodil crinkle ribbon (from the Spring Flowers bundle).  Don't forget you can use code KN10 to get 10% off.  That's a sweet deal!

The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company, called YOU...Crack Me Up!  I love the sentiment.  I colored it with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and added some UmWow Studio confetti butterflies covered in Liquid Pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  And be sure to link up your green, yellow and orange!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Santa in the Window

Yay!  Super excited to be starting my second term on the Christmas Card Challenges Design Team!  Whoop, whoop!  Love Christmas cards, and I give out over 100 each year, so this is a great way to not end up short at the holidays.

This week's optional challenge is to create a card with NO stamping.  Not so easy for a die-hard stamper!  For my card, I used a printed picture of Santa and cut a window using some mirror paper.  Then I embellished with some die cuts and some UmWow Studios star confetti!

Maybe I'll need to do some more cards with no stamping.  I just love this card!  Join us, won't you?

Craftily yours,

Karen

Stickled Storage Labels

It's time for a new linky party at the All That Stickles blog!  Our theme is anything goes, but you have to use Distress Stickles.

For my project, I decided to make crafty labels for my card-storage containers.  I love having my own crafty room, and part of what I love is being surrounded by fun crafty organization.  I have been keeping my completed cards in three containers.  One is for Operation Write Home; in it are standard sized cards with no glitter and thinner embellishments.  The next container holds all my Christmas cards.  (Some of these also go to Operation Write Home, but I make a LOT of Christmas cards....)  The final container are the cards for home-use.  The post-it notes weren't cutting it anymore!

My labels are made from scrap paper.  I've used Antique Linen Distress Stickles on the center of the flower.  The labels are made with Stickles in Cotton Candy, Holly and True Blue.  If you want to see how I've made these titles, check out this  week's "Tips and Techniques" on the All That Stickles blog.

Link up with us.  You could win one of these wonderful prizes!
