Such a CuTe Penguin

I'm excited to be posting on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today.  I absolutely adore the sweet character dies that Joset released recently....like this ADORABLE Penguin:

Cute, cute.  I covered him with black sparkly Silk Microfine Glitter:

Adhered properly, this stuff doesn't budge.  I love it.  For more info on my project, be sure to check out the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog post.  My supplies list is below.

'tis the Season for Snowflakes

Christmas is coming!  Yippee!  I love Christmas and I love making Christmas cards.  Here's a fun and simple one using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

The Snowflakes die set has three sizes.  This is the medium sized one.  The "back" part is a Tim Holtz Metallic Paper.  The magic is to put the large adhesive on the white paper before die cutting.  Then it's super easy to create the snowflake.

The sentiment is from the Classic Christmas Sentiments.  I just hand cut the fishtails on both sides.  The card front is cut out with the Dashing Rectangles die set.  The embossing on the pack is from Taylored Expressions.

That's it.  So simple and so fun.  My supplies list is below.  I couldn't find the embossing folder, but really, anything "wintry" would work.

It's Designer Challenge Day at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  That means there's a ton of fun and crafty inspiration on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  This month, we are challenged to create a card using something classicly Christmas.  There are several fabulous new dies out; be sure to check them out at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  And there's a prize.  All you have to do is answer a question on their blog!   Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!

Here's my classic Christmas creation:

I used the Hot Chocolate Die set along with paper from It's Christmas Time.  I made the mug super sparkly with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.  LoVe that glitter.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Mr & Mrs

My mom went to a wedding reception recently and needed a card.  I didn't really have anything so I busted out some Susan's Garden flowers from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I paired them with the Wedding Sentiments clear stamps to create this:

LoVe.  The patterned paper is from the Rainbow Bark 6x6 paper pack. The pink flowers are from Flowering Trees of Spring.  The white flower is a Shasta Daisy.  I embellished it with Trio of Leaves and Berry Spray.  The "window" is cut with the Frame It - Stitched Ovals and is framed with the Dashing Rectangles.  The sentiment is cut with a Dashing Circle Die.

My whole supplies list is below.  Thank you for stopping by today!

Sparkly Igloo

I'm seriously digging the new(ish) release from Joset at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Like the very sweet Polar Bear and Igloo Dies!  Here's what I made:

The igloo background is done with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter, so it's super sparkly.  The polar bear is so fun to put together.  He is edged with the C1 Copic and is super happy with his lil pile of fish!

My supplies list is below.  Thank you for stopping by today!
