The winner will receive a stamp set and ink pad of their choice!!
The Blog Hop will end Sunday, April 30th at 7:00pm Eastern.
We will then post a winner!!

I created a FuN canvas today using the Vines of Love Stamps and coordinating Vines of Love Chipboard.

I painted on the base with Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean distress paints.  I added the lines at the bottom with some distress ink and edged the whole canvas with Walnut Stain.  The butterflies are created by using an UmWow Studio stencil and some moulding paste.  The flower was colored with Copic Markers and I added some Distress Glitter to the flower for emphasis.  Here's a close-up:

I covered the whole flower with Glossy Accents and added the sentiment with D2BA Chocolate Chip Ink.

Thanks for stopping by!  Your next stop in the hop is our fabulous Artzy Guest Designer, Vicki's blog!   (Did anyone notice that I am "surrounded" by wonder women named Vicki??!)

We hope you are inspired all along the way!

Flower Card

I'm up over on the Dare 2B Artzy blog today.  I used the Flowers for Mom set to create this:

There are some great sentiments that come with the set, but I decided to leave it without a sentiment, so I can use it for anything.  I really LoVe the Dare 2B Artzy papers.  The patterns are so fun to mix.

The papers I used today are from the Modern Bliss collection.   One of the things I really love about these papers is that there isn't a centimeter wasted.  The dotted pattern is the "edge" (where on the other side, the name of the papers is).  Very cool.  I finished the card off with some lace, ribbons and Nuvo Drops. Here's a close-up of that beautiful flower:

So much fun to color!  As you can see, I fussy cut and tucked another flower behind the corner. Have you "liked" us on Facebook yet?!  You should!  There's all kinds of beautiful inspiration.

Be sure to also check out all D2BA's products here! Thanks for stopping by!

Dream Big!

On Friday, Els (from Elizabeth Craft Designs) posted a FuN instructional video using the Distress Oxides ink.  You can find it:  here!  I loved the soft feel of the background, so I used the Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo, and Iced Spruce to create my own.  Here's what I made:

The leaves were done with Peeled Paint and Iced Spruce oxides by dipping the paper into wetted ink and smearing.  LoVe these inks.

Last week, I was involved as an assessor in a management training program.  My assessees impressed me so much that I am sending them thank you cards.  This one is for the fellow who was in my group.
The elephant/birdie is from the Jungle Cuties stamps and is colored with Copic markers:  B93, B95, B97, G82, G85, YG93, YG95, Y15, Y26

Inside and Out

It's coloring team designer day today over at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  LoVe all of the crafty inspiration from my design team sisters!  The challenge this month is "inside and out" - i.e. decorate the card both inside and out.  LoVe that.  Here's what I made using the Feathered Friends Stamps:

I colored the pretty birdie with Copic markers:  BG53, BG57, R81, R83, R85, RV 53, RV55, YR14 and R27.  I used the fitted and scallop oval dies to frame the bird and to cut a "window" on the front.  I embellished the card with the Garden Note Jasmine flowers.  The paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Botanic Orchid paper.

Mixed Media Hello - Artzy Style

It's my day over at Dare 2B Artzy, and today, I'm sharing a card that stretched my creative boundaries a bit using Totally Tracy Chipboard and the Be Bold Stamps.

For the background, I used Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink through a stencil.  For the flower, I used TH distress paint in Seedless Preserves, then stamped it in Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black ink and splattered it with white Dylusions Ink.  The center is Nuvo Drops.  Here's a close up:

The strips of paper are from the Dare 2B Artzy, Artzy Doodles Collection.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Before you leave, be sure to "like" the Dare 2B Artzy Facebook Page!

Happy Birthday Honey

Today, I'm showcasing a card I made using some FuN products from Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Here's what I made:

After I made the card, I realized that the 'honey' can be read as part of the sentiment.  How fun!  And isn't that bear the absolute cutest??!  He (and the tree, honey and butterfly) are from the Honey Bear stamps and are cut with the coordinating dies.  The elements of this project are colored with Copic markers:

Bear:  E41, E42, E43, E31, E35, B93, B95, B97, Y21, Y23
Stool:  E95, E97, E99
Honey:  Y21, Y23, Y26, B93, B95
Tree:  E33, E35, G24, G26
Hive:  Y21, Y23, Y26, E31

The butterfly and sentiment (from the General Sentiments stamps) also use these colors.  The paper is from Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower.  I cut the frame using the nested and stitched rectangle dies.

Woodland Pals

My design team sisters at Elizabeth Craft Designs create such adorable "scenes" from the stamps and have inspired me to give it a shot with the Woodland Pals stamps.  Here's what I did:

I used the Earth and Sky stencil to create the background with distress inks.  Then I stamped the images into the scene.  I used the watercolor cardstock for that piece.  I then stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers (Fox:  E11, E13, E15, W0, W2; Bunny:  C1, C3, R81; Bird:  Y06, Y08, YR14).  I fussy cut out the animals and glued them to the background and then colored in the tree.  I added some pearls embellishments and the silver borders.
