Growing in Unity Blog Hop

TODAY is a fun day.  It's the "Growing in Unity Blog Hop" day!  You have reached my stop on the hop.  For my card today, I used the Unity Blow Your mind Set.  I fell in love with this set watching the videos that Jolande did.  Love the HuGe flower!

The background is Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Yellow, Mowed Lawn and Broken China with the edges done in Black Soot.  I stamped the mesh stamp and the sentiment stamp (from a grab bag) with Walnut Stain and used Encore Gold ink for the splats.  I colored the flower with Copic markers R83, R85 and R89.

Here's the inside:

Let It Snow

Today is December 1.  Only a few days left to finish up those holiday cards and get them mailed!  Here's a fun and easy card Dare 2B Artzy style:

I used the Dare 2B Artzy Holly Days Paper and Penguin Fun Stamps.  I embossed a piece of white paper with an embossing folder and cut a circle out of the middle of it.  Then on top of the "hole," I layered up a doily, some D2BA paper, the white cut-out and a penguin.  I added ribbon, twine, and some Nuvo drops.  Easy and fun!
