Pumpkin Decor

A girlfriend and I recently had a craft day where we decided to decorate pumpkins.  There were a ton on Pinterest with ribbons and more with flowers, and we decided to try some with ribbons and flowers.  Here's what I did:

Fun!  The flowers are all made from dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I used the Shasta Daisy, the Forget-Me-Not, the Nasturtium and the Berry Branch along with a couple ribbons from my stash.  I think it makes a great centerpiece for my table :)

Here's my Christmas creation:

Eek, how cute are those little marshmallow fellers from the Marshmallow Snowmen Stamp Set, cut out beautifully with the coordinating dies!  The sentiment is from the Cute Winter Sentiments set and is cut out with a Dashing Circle die.  The beautiful paper is from the 6x6 It's Christmas Time Paper Collection.  I added a wee bit of lace and some silver/gold glitter lines to embellish the card.

The marshmallow snowmen are colored with Copic markers E41, E42, R37, YR14, YG61 and YG63.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Poinsettia

Elizabeth Craft Designs has some NEW and AMAZING stamps designed by Krista.  Like the one I used to make this:

LoVe!  The background is created by stamping some of the smaller images from the Poinsettia Clear Stamps and coloring them in.  I then die cut it with the Dashing Rectangles dies.  The large flower is also part of that stamp set and is die cut with the coordinating die set.  The Copics I used were:  R35, R37, R39, YG61, YG63, YG13, YG17, E42, Y26 and B000.  The sentiment is from the Classic Christmas Sentiments set and is die cut with a Stitched Fishtail Banner die.

The links to the supplies I used are below.  Thank you for stopping by.

'tis the Season for Snowflakes

Christmas is coming!  Yippee!  I love Christmas and I love making Christmas cards.  Here's a fun and simple one using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

The Snowflakes die set has three sizes.  This is the medium sized one.  The "back" part is a Tim Holtz Metallic Paper.  The magic is to put the large adhesive on the white paper before die cutting.  Then it's super easy to create the snowflake.

The sentiment is from the Classic Christmas Sentiments.  I just hand cut the fishtails on both sides.  The card front is cut out with the Dashing Rectangles die set.  The embossing on the pack is from Taylored Expressions.

That's it.  So simple and so fun.  My supplies list is below.  I couldn't find the embossing folder, but really, anything "wintry" would work.

Karen
