Bird-Day Party and Fun Fold

Happy Monday, Peeps.  Speaking of peeps, I'm up over at Elizabeth Craft Designs today with a birdie birthday card.  Here's my card:

All of the steps I used to make this card are on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog post.  Here's a pic showing how the card opens:

I love fun fold cards.  This one was inspired by my crafty mentor, Sharon. I also absolutely LoVe the Elizabeth Craft Designs Bird-Day Party stamps and used some of their new paper for this masculine birthday card.  The paper is called Manly Man.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Love Owl-ways

I've got a post over on the Dare 2B Artzy blog.  I used the Hoot Hoot set to create this:

Seriously!  Looooove these FuN owls.  Omigosh.  I colored them with the following Copic markers:
V01, V04, V06, G40, G43, G46, R30, R32, R35, YR12, YR14

I used my "go-to" paper line, Artzy Doodles Collection.  Love mixing up the patterns on these, and the colors always coordinate so beautifully.

Thinking of You

EEeeek!  I love paper!  And I just got some fabulous NEW paper from Elizabeth Craft Designs!  I just had to cut into it!  Really, no choice!

Today's card features the paper, Cucina with Love and is filled with yummy colors and images, like this:

This paper screamed to me to use the FuN Tea Time Clear Stamps, also from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I stamped the cup, masked it, then stamped the stack of cookies.  I colored the image with Copic markers:  Y21, Y23, YG03, YG06, YG61, R81, R83, R85, R30, G40.  I stamped the sentiment on the edge of a Fitted Oval die cut.  To finish off the card, I added some lace, twine, pearls and a button.

Today's my day over at the Dare 2B Artzy Blog!  I recently got the Distress Oxide inks and could not wait to play with them.  And today is my oldest son's birthday!  He's a whopping 24 years old.  So hard to believe since I'm only 29!
Here's what I made for his birthday using the Restore the Soul Stamps:

LoVe the inks and love that fishy.  I decorated my card with Cattails Die and adorned it Love You Die cut (that I also colored up with Oxide inks)!  The colors I used to color Mr. Fish were:  YG03, YG05, Y13, Y15, BG02, BG05, R81, R83, YG61, YG63

Rainy Days

Northern California (where I'm from) had a whole lotta rain this year, so I thought I'd create a rain-inspired card for my inspiration post over at Paper Nest Dolls!

This sentiment-less card could be used for quite a few occasions.  I used the plain version of Rainy Day Emma to create this:

I super love that sweet frog and that sweet duckling!  I colored with Copics:

Hair:  E21, E23, E25
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, R20
Outfit:  Y000, Y00, Y02, R81, R83, BG53, BG57, BG10
Frog:  G14, G16
Duck:  Y15, Y18, YR14
Ground:  BG01, BG02

The rest of the card is a mixture of papers, flowers, lace and jelly dots I had in my stash.

Thinking of You

I'm posting today using the pretty Flower Power stamps from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I finally took the plunge, inspired by my Facebook crafty communities, and purchased Prismacolor pencils.  This is my first attempt:

They are fun to play with, and I ended up with a bit of a watercolor effect (but they aren't watercolor pencils!).  FuN to play with, and I'm excited to practice more.  The colors I used to color the flower were:

Light Aqua, Aquamarine, Peacock Blue, Blush Pink, Pink, Process Red, Goldenrod, Canary Yellow, Sienna Brown

The paper is from the Heartfelt Creations, Birds and Blooms collection.  I saw someone on Pinterest do the circle frame offset that way and thought it looked cool.  What do you think?

Outfit and Flower:  B00, B02, B05, C1, C3, R20, R21, R22, G40, G43

The paper is from Dare 2B Artzy.  The stamp is framed with Fitted Oval Dies and Scallop Oval Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  And I added a butterfly from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Dancing Butterflies along with a sentiment from their General Sentiments Stamps.  I embellished the background with a Stitched Fishtail Die and then added some pearls.
