I've got a card today up on the Dare 2B Artzy blog!  Anyone whose been to my blog, ever!, knows I love to COLOR!  Many of the Dare 2B Artzy have a zentangle feel to them, and I just LOVE them.  Like this one from the Flowers for Mom set:

I used Copic markers B12, B14, B93, B95, B97, R24, R27, YR14, YR16 with some C1, C3 to highlight the white areas.  The paper is from the Fields of Joy collection.

Get Your Happy On

Eek!  I LoVe the new fashion stamps from Elizabeth Craft Designs SO much.  I'm not really a fashion girl in real life - I wear what's comfortable.....but I'm loving putting them on paper to try out different outfits.  Today's post uses the Fashions 1 stamps and coordinating dies:

Wow, I wish I had the waist to pull off that FuN skirt.  I colored the images with Copic markers - BG53, BG57, B00, V22, V25, Y23, and Y26.  The paper may be my new favorite.  It's SO pretty - called Fly and Scrap.  I layered the FuN images on a Stitched Rectangle die cut and a rectangle I cut with my cutter.  I then added the wavy stitched white accent cut from the Adventure Edges dies!  The sentiment is from the Fashionable Phrases set.  To finish off the card, I added just a touch of scrunched up lace and some Nuvo drops.

Be Brave, Be Bold, Be YOU

Posting a card today made with the FuN Fashions 2 stamps from Elizabeth Craft Designs!  Here's what I did:

I was in the mood to just color!  I started by creating the background.  I stamped the purse, glasses, hat, and pocketbook onto a piece of white cardstock and colored with the following Copic markers:

R81, R83, B12, B14, Y26, Y28, C1, C3

The dress is colored with R81, R83, and R85 with B14 bows.  I die cut it with the coordinating dies and added it to a Stitched Circles die stamped with a sentiment from Fashionable Phrases.  I added some Nuvo drops in a random pattern.

Then I colored around the images with BG000.  I added some white polka dots with the Kiriwina Wink white pearl marker.  Here's a close-up:

Designer Challenge - Christmas

It's time for a new Designer Challenge over at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  This month is about Christmas!  There's a $20 gift card available to win over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  All you have to do is answer the question on their blog - What are your favorite projects to create during the Christmas season?

Here's what I did:

LLLLLLove the Unconventional Xmas paper that is (fairly) new at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I embellished that Pillow Box with Handles (so easy to make!) with a simple Stitched circle stamped with the Holiday Trees & Ornaments stamps.  I finished off my box with a bow of crinkle seam binding ribbon.

The card is made with more of the Unconventional Xmas paper and embellished with "snow hills" made from the Adventure Edges dies.  Then I added a tree, again from the Holiday Trees & Ornaments set that I cut with the coordinating dies, and stamped with a sentiment from the Holiday Cheer set.

I only used a few Copics on my creations - YG61, C1, and E31 for the trees and the tiny owl, and Y15 for the birds.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Merry Christmas - Square Style

Today is my day at the Dare 2B Artzy blog!  I'm featuring a Christmas card today using stamps that normally would not say "Christmas" - but they did to me, so why not?!?  The set is from the Totally Tracy line at Dare 2B Artzy - called Be There or Be Square.

I used Copic markers YG61 and YG63 for the leaves, colored the flowers with R24, R27 and R29 and filled in the background with B00.  The flower square was stamped twice, and I fussy cut three of the flowers in one square to use as embellishments.  The sentiment is from the Penguin Fun stamps, and the paper is from the Holly Days Paper Collection.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Christmas Apron

A couple weeks ago, Elizabeth Craft Designs did a Winter Sweater blog hop.  That got me to thinking about what other dies I could stamp on....so I gave the ECD apron a try:

Fun, huh?  Makes me wonder what other dies I can stamp on?!?  I'll be trying some things for sure. The paper is, I believe, from Echo Park.  The rest of my supplies are below.

Artzy Fall Challenge

There's a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy - Fall Colors. Show us your oranges, reds, browns, greens, etc!  Who's ready for Fall?!?  I AM!

I used a stamp from the Totally Tracy line in my creation - Shaken Not Stirred.  I also used an older stamp on Dare 2B Artzy, called Texture.

The background is made with Distress Oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Fossilized Amber.  The corners were stamped with the Fired Brick.  I wet-embossed the "Cheers" sentiment with black on vellum.  The drinks are colored with C1, YG61 and YG63!  I finished off the card with some twine, lace and sequins.

Thanks for stopping by....and do join our challenge!

Craftily yours,
