I've got a couple cards and a tutorial over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today.  I used the new Winter Ornaments dies along with the Unconventional Christmas 12 x 12 paper to create these:

The full instructions for how I created these are on the ECD blog....but suffice it to say that they are pretty simple and easy.  It's a great design for making multiples!  My full supplies list is below.

Fun Lil Characters

Omigosh, I'm just in LOVE with the Unconventional Christmas line from ModaScrap!  The paper is available at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I purchased the stamps and dies from them at a Scrapbook Expo, but they are also available online from the ModaScrap website.  Here's what I created:

Aren't they just the cutest lil characters?  I colored the guy with BG72, BG75, E000, E33, and E41.  The girl is colored with Y23, E000, G43, and E41.  That adorable penguin is colored with C5 and YR14.  I used the Stitched Hexagon die to frame them and added the Snowflake Border die too.  The sentiment is from the Classic Christmas Sentiments.

Character Challenge

It's Designer Challenge Day at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  That means there's a ton of fun and crafty inspiration on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  This month, we are celebrating Christmas Fun with Character Dies.  There are several SERIOUSLY cute new dies out; be sure to check them out at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  And there's a prize.  All you have to do is answer a question on their blog!   Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!

Here's my Santa creation:

Just love him.  I die cut him with adhesive on the front for his pants, jacket and hat and covered with Petal Pink Silk Microfine Glitter from the Bloom Glitter Palette.  Hard to capture the stunning sparkles in this glitter, but it's amazing.  The buttons, boots and gloves are colored with a C7 Copic, the bell with a Y26 and the face with an E000.  The patterned paper is from the 6x6 Unconventional Christmas Collection.  I cut the card front using the Dashing Rectangle die and used the Fitted Circle and Stitched Fishtail Banner dies too.  I finished the card off with a few Nuvo drops in Neptune Turquoise.

New Release from Joset

Today, my design team sisters and I from  Elizabeth Craft Designs are focusing on the new release from Joset.  I chose to make a holiday-inspired card using the ADORABLE new Moose Die!

Cute!!  He is fun to put together, reminds me of playing with paper dolls when I was a kid.  The hooves, antlers and beared and colored with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain, and his body is Tea Dye.  I used the beautiful Christmas Holiday 6x6 Paper.  The rectangle is die cut with two of the Dashing Rectangle dies.  (I just cut the smaller one offset in the middle.  I added a sentiment from the NEW Cute Winter Sentiments set.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sparkly Penguin

Have you seen the ADORABLE new release from Joset at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  So so so cute!  Like the new Penguin die:

I thought he turned out pretty cute in the Snowglobe die!  For his body and wings, I covered White Soft-Finish Cardstock with adhesive before cutting and then covered with Basic Black Silk Microfine Glitter.  His feet and nose are colored with Copic YR14, and the trees in the background are colored with G40.  The paper is from the beautiful Unconventional Christmas line.  Here's a better shot at the glittery goodness.  (It's very smoky here in No Cali, so getting a good pic is tough!)

Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine!  LoVe the sentiment....but getting a little tired of the heat here in No Cali...so I'm staying cool by crafting indoors.  Today's make uses products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

The gorgeous paper is from the Fly & Scrap 6x6 collection.  I cut the square "hole" using the Frame It / Stitched Squares dies.  They stitch the outside of the die cut.  Very cool.  I also used the Stitched Hexagon dies and created a couple Garden Note Zinnias to embellish my card.  I finished it off with a few Nuvo drops in Buttermilk.  Love the pretty spring-y colors :)

Thanks for stopping by today.  My supplies list is below.
