Trying New Things

I'm trying out new techniques over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today, specifically, I'm trying Jennifer McGuire's technique of stamping using water- found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFvajIMSB1U

Here's my take:

Aren't they pretty!  All of the supplies I used on these cards are listed below.  And I'm using the "Wish Big" card as inspiration for a Crazy4Challenge post on trying something new inspired by a video!

Here's the front of my card.  Love that paper. I thought it was kinda cute to use the little "virus cell" as a flower.

Love the Sidekick

Dad's Day

It's World Gin Day

We need something to celebrate, and today is a great day!  It's world gin day!  Yes, you heard that right!  And that is the amazing challenge at Crazy4Challenges.  Here's what I did:

That FuN stamp is from the Celebrate Set that is NEW at Elizabeth Craft Designs and includes my fun little fruity drink that I used to decorate the inside.  The pattern paper is from Graphic 45. The rest of my supplies from ECD are listed below.

D2BA Masculine Challenge

Today is the start of a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy! This month is about masculine cards. Here's what I created:

Love that sweet otter from the Otterly Awesome Stamps. The dark teal plaid patterned cardstock is from the Fall Harvest Collection Variety Pack, and the background paper is from the Fields of Bloom Paper Pack.
