Easter Fun - A Designer Challenge

It's Designer Challenge Day Elizabeth Craft Designs!  Such a fun inspirational post on the blog, and there's a $20 gift card available to win over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  All you have to do is answer a question on their blog!   Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!

This month, we are challenged to create a card with the theme:  Easter. There are SO many fun products at Elizabeth Craft Designs that you could use to create fun Easter cards and other projects - like the ones I used for this card!

The paper I used is from the Butterfly Dream 6x6 collection.  Isn't it pretty?!?  I also used Soft Finish Cardstock, 100lb for the sentiment and card base.

For the light teal paper, I used the new Dashing Circles dies to cut them.  I love the extra texture these dies create.  The other circles were cut with the Fitted Circles dies.

The eggs are from the Color My Easter Eggs stamps and are die cut using the coordinating dies.  That sweet bunny is from the Patchwork stamps and is die cut with the coordinating dies.  The Copic colors used were:

BG02, BG05, R81, R83, RV52, RV55, Y26, W0, W2

The sentiment is from the Spring Sentiments collection.  I added some grass from the Adventurous Edges die as well as some twine to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's all Gouda - Donut Worry!

Elizabeth Craft Designs has some new and FUN "pun" stamps - called Cute Food.  Here's what I created with them:

Ha!  So cute and funny!  Elizabeth Craft Designs also has coordinating dies to make them super easy to use in all sorts of ways!  The paper is from the Manly Man 12x12 collection.  I stamped with sentiments on Stitched Fishtail Banner dies (and just cut off the fishtail).  The "frames" around the images are done with the Fitted Circles and Dotted Scallop Circle dies.

I stamped the images onto Kraft cardstock and then colored with Copic:  BG72, BG75, W0, Y23, Y26, Y00, and Y02.

Polka-Dot Fun

I'm posting a polka-dot card using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

Aren't those polka-dots fun?  Please note that I lined up all the polka-dots!  It's not perfect, but it was a challenge getting it close, so I want everyone to take note!!  (LOL)  The paper is from the Thinking About...Rio de Janeiro 12x12 collection.  That adorable little birdie was stamped from the Feathered Friends Clear Stamps and die cut with the coordinating dies.  I colored it with Copics:  RV63, RV66, B93, B95, YG11, YG13, YG25 and YR14.  The flower also has a little YG63 on it.  The sentiment is from the Banners Sentiments and is die cut using the Banners dies.  The pink pieces are cut using the Stitched Fishtail dies (even the one beneath the sentiment - I just cut off the ends.  The blue circle is cut with the Stitched Circles dies.

Easter Pretty!

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Nest Dolls Challenges.  The challenges are anything goes.  While we love to see your Paper Nest Doll inspiration, it isn't required.  Join us!  I created an Easter pretty with Easter Bunny Emma!

I love how she turned out!  And....unfortunately, I forgot to write down the Copics I used to color her. Usually, I'm pretty good about that.

The paper is from the Elizabeth Craft Designs, called Fly & Scrap.  I think it may be one of my favorite collections ever!  So pretty!  I also used Dashing Squares dies from ECD.

Thanks for stopping by today!  And be sure to join the challenge for your chance at winning a fantastic prize!

Craftily yours,

Karen
