Happy Bird-Day
Posting a card using the FuN Bird-Day Party stamps from Elizabeth Craft Designs!
Aren't they absolutely adorable??! I stamped the birdies and sentiment and then die cut them out with a Fitted Oval Die. Then I cut off the edge and lined it up on a Dashing Rectangle polkadot cut from Thinking About Rio de Janeiro 12x12 Paper collection. I embellished with a couple scraps I had from the Color of Puppies Boy 12x12 Paper collection.
The birds are colored with Copic markers:
YG11, YG13, G82, G85, YR12, YR14, BG53, BG57, YR68, Y15, Y18
I added three green half pearls to finish it up.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen

Spring It for Mom
It's Designer Challenge Day at Elizabeth Craft Designs! Such a fun inspirational post on the blog, and there's a $20 gift card available to win over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog. All you have to do is answer a question on their blog! Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!
This month's challenge to the designers is to use the Scissor Spring Mechanism Die. This super cool die creates an amazing way to really pop something from your card.
For the front of today's project, I kept it simple using the beautiful Fly & Scrap paper for the background and for a Fitted Circle die cut of the paper. I used some purple card stock I had and layered the fitted circle onto a Dotted Scallop Circle. I embellished the front with a flower from the Patchwork stamps and coordinating dies as well as some twine, lace and a button.
And onto the inside where I used the Scissor Spring Mechanism to pop up the adorable birdie from the Patchwork set.
The sentiment "Happy Mother's Day" is die cut using the Words 3-Happy Holidays dies.
Be sure to see all the creations from the Design Team on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today!

Birthday Puppies
Posting a fun doggie card using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:
Adorable! LoVe those sweet doggies from the aptly named Puppies Clear Stamps. I stamped the chihuahua first and then masked her and added the curled up dog. I colored with E31, E33, E35, E74, W0, W2, W3, G43, G46, YR14, YR16, Y21 and Y23. The images are cut out using the Dashing Squares die. I added a smidge of paper to the bottom and wrapped/tied some twine.
The bright and pretty paper is from the Color of Puppies Boy 12x12 paper collection. The little banners in the corner are cut with the Stitched Fishtail Banner dies. I attached them with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher stapler.
Thank you for stopping by! My supplies list is below.

Pastels Challenge
To create this card, I rubbed some Worn Lipstick TH Distress Oxide ink on a piece of white cardstock. Then I wet it slightly to let it fade and blend. I then used the Wild Flower Stencil to apply some more of the ink. I cut two corners with a corner rounder. I layered in on a piece of white shimmer sheet with two corners rounded and then on a card base with two corners rounded.
To embellish the card, I added a flower and leaf from the Vines of Love set and added some twine, lace and Nuvo drops.
Thanks for stopping by....and do join our challenge!
Craftily yours,
Karen
