Dare 2B Artzy has so many fun stamps with so many fun styles. There's something for everyone! For my card today, I decided to get super inky using the Dare 2B Artzy, Totally Tracy, Be Bold Stamps! Here's what I did:
I love the fun and bright colors! My niece is graduating high school soon and will be heading off to college. This card is going to her to congratulate her on making her choice of colleges. She is a great kid - over 4.0 GPA, cheerleader, track, etc. So smart. I'm very proud of her. To create this card, I cut a watercolor cardstock into two pieces using Spellbinder's Curved Borders. Then I used Color Burst inks in orange and yellow on the top and in green and blue on the bottom. I then stamped that gorgeous flower using Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Ink (great ink for watercolor or alcohol ink processes) onto another piece of watercolor cardstock. I used Color Burst inks in pink and purple; then I fussy cut it out. Here's a close-up:
I really love the splatter-y effect. I finished the card off with some seam-binding ribbon, sequins, a button and a twine bow.

I love the colors, and I really love the Dare 2B Artzy, Artzy Doodles Papers. (They are definitely my current favorite!) The owl is colored with Copic Markers:
Owl Body: E31, E33, E35
Band, Eye Shadow, Accents: BG53, BG57
Apron: RV93, RV95
Flowers and Baubles: RV66, RV69
Nose: YR07
Here's a close-up:
Isn't she the cutest??! The stamp set says wedding, but this set can be used for a lot of different reasons. I'll give this one to my husband just because :)

I am excited to be sharing a card for the Dare 2B Artzy May Challenge. This month, we are challenging YOU to create something with turquoise and purple. That's definitely one of my favorite combinations! You have about a month to join us, and you could WiN a fabulous Dare 2B Artzy Prize. Wowzers!!
I stamped and colored the "circle" part of the dream catcher twice. I fussy cut the flower out of the center and covered it with TH Rock Candy Crackle Paint. The strings to the feathers are drawn on with a black thin marker. And finally, I poked holes (free hand) around the end of the image and added some twine and sequins. Here's a close-up:
Are you a list-maker? I am. I have lists in notebooks, lists on my computer and lists on post-it notes. They are everywhere! I decided to try to organize my crafty-notes....so I made a crafty notebook! I used the sweet girl from the Dare 2B Artzy Turtle Couple stamps, the heart from the same set, and some fun and fabulous Dare 2B Artzy, Artzy Doodles Paper.
Isn't she fun!?!? Here are the Copic markers I used to color her.
Shell/Heart: Y00, Y02, Y15, Y18, BG02, BG45
Turtle Body: YG03, YG06, YG61, YG63
After coloring her, I fussy cut her and layered her up. I stamped with used Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Premium Ink. I used a Sizzix Alphabet die to cut the letters and added some twine, lace and pearls.
Here's a close-up of that fun, dolled-up turtle:

I had a chance to play with the new Tim Holtz Distress Crayons for Cut@Home this week! I used them to make backgrounds for my cards. Here's my video showing you how I used them:
And here's my cards... For the first one, I added some Tim Holtz Spiky Flowers and some sequins.
I embellished the next one with big flowers (colored with Copics) from Dare 2B Artzy. I also splattered some ink on the page.
I then mixed some of the crayons with Gesso and used an UmWow Studio butterfly stencil. (The background on this one is Distress Ink.)
And finally, I embellished this one with some Tattered Lace

I decided to stamp it twice on watercolor cardstock. On one version, I painted the heart red (with white polka dots done with a Molotow Acrylic White Paint Marker) and painted the leaves green. I fussy cut both out and fussy cut out just the petals on the flower. To color, I used Ken Oliver Color Burst powders mixed with water. On the other version, I created a background using the Color Bursts as well. I colored up a second yelow heart from the Hearts & Swirls set and fussy cut it out. Then I layered it all up. The red heart and green leaves are glued flat and the petals are popped up on the ends. I also covered the yellow heart with Glossy Accents and used pop tape to stick it in the middle. Here's a close-up:

My crafty mentor, Sharon, taught me a new-to-me technique called Bokeh. Bokeh is typically a photography term referring to points of light that are blurred. I am sharing this technique over at Cut@Home today. It uses Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Hero Huges Unicorn (white) pigment ink.
The video shows it best.
And here's the final products:

I'm up over at Cut@Home today with a fun mini album made with Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea! The hubby and I are avid boaters, and this pretty nautical inspired paper was perfect for journaling some photos of one of our recent voyages along the Sacramento River.
Here's the "front view" of the mini-album.
And here's my video showing all of the pages.
I wanted to also share a couple pics of the inside. This first one is a panel fussy cut from the 8 x 8 paper pad.
And this one shows some of the pretty scenery at the Sacramento River.
Here's a couple pictures of opening draw-bridges. I'm obsessed with opening the bridges.
And here's one of the sets of pages that shows the hubs and I with a secret panel behind it.\
Thanks for stopping by today. Here's the supplies list.
Today, I'm sharing an Oak Tree Stamps, Baby Card. The Oak Tree Stamps set called, Baby Bumps, is perfect for a wide range of baby cards - showers, new baby, announcements, etc. Here's what I did with the adorable baby boy stamp!
The paper is from Heartfelt Creations, and I used some Timeless Twine and a button. I colored the baby with Copic Markers as follows:
Skin: E00, E21, E02
Hair: E31, E33, E35
Clothes and Binky: B32, B34
I have a post up on the Cut@Home blog using the Tim Holtz Crazy Cats, Crazy Things, and Crazy Talk. The new cats are SO much fun. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and get them inked up. Here are the cards I made:
To see all the details on these cards, be sure to check out my Cut@Home blog post!
Such a fun and funky set! I love it. I added a second layer onto the "dreamcatcher circle" and added some glossy accents. Here's a close-up:
Having such fun with the set, I decided to keep the design going on the inside. Using some die-cut circles, the Dream Big Stamps, and some Dare 2B Artzy Premium Ink:
A few days ago, I posted a Dare 2B Artzy Aarf card, and today, I'm sharing an Oak Tree Stamps Aarf card. Think maybe I'm obsessed with dogs? LOL, probably.
Karen N here from Craftily Yours! I am excited to be sharing a card for the ALL NEW Dare 2B Artzy Challenge. It's all about bright colors. How FuN! Create something with bright colors and join us. You have almost a month to join us, and you could WiN a free stamp set and some inks. Wowzers!!
Today, I am sharing a card that I made for one of my co-workers. I manage the Arts at a local university, and my co-worker is the seamstress in the costume shop. I know she'll LoVe this. Dare 2B Artzy's Quilted Turtle Stamp Set is PERFECT for her. Here's what I made:
I used the following Copic markers to color the turtle:
Shell: R20, R21, R22, YG91, YG93, YG95
Body: YG03, YG06, YG07
Button Eye, R22, BG53, BG57
I used a Spellbinders Curved Die to add the swoop in the middle of the card. I added the white polka-dots with a Molotow acrylic paint pen. Here's a close-up of the turtle (who is adorable!):
We have an adorable and cray-cray Queensland Heeler named Chief. When we go do something that has fireworks, we kennel him (because fireworks terrify him), so I decided to make a card for the nice people who care for him.
I used two different Dare 2B Artzy stamp sets - Puppy Talk and Pet Lovers. The gorgeous paper I used can be found in the Dare 2B Artzy In Bloom Paper Pack. One special thing about this paper is that even the "ends" can be used. That fun dotted line is actually the end where the name of the paper can be found!
Here's a close-up of that adorable puppy!
The Dare 2B Artzy Pet Lovers set has really fun sentiments like this one that I used to decorate the inside:
The Copic Markers I used to color the pup are:
Hearts: R83
Pup: C1, C3, C5, R21
Collar: B32, B34
