Summer Butterflies

I am super excited to meet my Linnie Blooms Design Team Challenge this month with the Linnie Blooms Butterfly Mask.  Our team was asked to highlight the Linnie Blooms Stencils or Masks and show some summer fun.

Summer fun to me is getting some time to relax by the pool or at the boat.....and watch the butterflies go by.  I used some watercolor card stock and inked around the butterfly mask with Tim Holtz distress ink in Salty Ocean and Dusty Concord.

I used the Linnie Blooms Canvas Shape (Butterfly) and spritzed it first with Dragonfly Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.  Then I sprayed it Dylusions White Linen through the Circle Confetti UmWow Studio stencil and used some MME enamel dots and some bling antenna!  Here's a close-up!

I added a little glimmer mist spritz to the white twine......and I used my NEW Zutter Distrezz-It-All tool to really distress out the edges!

The patterned paper is from Prima Marketing (All About Me), and the color cardstock is AC.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company Itty Bitty Feather Flight.

Wishing you lots of butterfly dreams this summer!

Submitting this card to the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge - Sprays and Mists.

Craftily yours,

Karen
