My crafty mentor, Sharon, taught me a new-to-me technique called Bokeh. Bokeh is typically a photography term referring to points of light that are blurred. I am sharing this technique over at Cut@Home today. It uses Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Hero Huges Unicorn (white) pigment ink.
The video shows it best.
And here's the final products:

I'm up over at Cut@Home today with a fun mini album made with Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea! The hubby and I are avid boaters, and this pretty nautical inspired paper was perfect for journaling some photos of one of our recent voyages along the Sacramento River.
Here's the "front view" of the mini-album.
And here's my video showing all of the pages.
I wanted to also share a couple pics of the inside. This first one is a panel fussy cut from the 8 x 8 paper pad.
And this one shows some of the pretty scenery at the Sacramento River.
Here's a couple pictures of opening draw-bridges. I'm obsessed with opening the bridges.
And here's one of the sets of pages that shows the hubs and I with a secret panel behind it.\
Thanks for stopping by today. Here's the supplies list.
Today, I'm sharing an Oak Tree Stamps, Baby Card. The Oak Tree Stamps set called, Baby Bumps, is perfect for a wide range of baby cards - showers, new baby, announcements, etc. Here's what I did with the adorable baby boy stamp!
The paper is from Heartfelt Creations, and I used some Timeless Twine and a button. I colored the baby with Copic Markers as follows:
Skin: E00, E21, E02
Hair: E31, E33, E35
Clothes and Binky: B32, B34
I have a post up on the Cut@Home blog using the Tim Holtz Crazy Cats, Crazy Things, and Crazy Talk. The new cats are SO much fun. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and get them inked up. Here are the cards I made:
To see all the details on these cards, be sure to check out my Cut@Home blog post!
Such a fun and funky set! I love it. I added a second layer onto the "dreamcatcher circle" and added some glossy accents. Here's a close-up:
Having such fun with the set, I decided to keep the design going on the inside. Using some die-cut circles, the Dream Big Stamps, and some Dare 2B Artzy Premium Ink:
A few days ago, I posted a Dare 2B Artzy Aarf card, and today, I'm sharing an Oak Tree Stamps Aarf card. Think maybe I'm obsessed with dogs? LOL, probably.
Karen N here from Craftily Yours! I am excited to be sharing a card for the ALL NEW Dare 2B Artzy Challenge. It's all about bright colors. How FuN! Create something with bright colors and join us. You have almost a month to join us, and you could WiN a free stamp set and some inks. Wowzers!!
Today, I am sharing a card that I made for one of my co-workers. I manage the Arts at a local university, and my co-worker is the seamstress in the costume shop. I know she'll LoVe this. Dare 2B Artzy's Quilted Turtle Stamp Set is PERFECT for her. Here's what I made:
I used the following Copic markers to color the turtle:
Shell: R20, R21, R22, YG91, YG93, YG95
Body: YG03, YG06, YG07
Button Eye, R22, BG53, BG57
I used a Spellbinders Curved Die to add the swoop in the middle of the card. I added the white polka-dots with a Molotow acrylic paint pen. Here's a close-up of the turtle (who is adorable!):
We have an adorable and cray-cray Queensland Heeler named Chief. When we go do something that has fireworks, we kennel him (because fireworks terrify him), so I decided to make a card for the nice people who care for him.
I used two different Dare 2B Artzy stamp sets - Puppy Talk and Pet Lovers. The gorgeous paper I used can be found in the Dare 2B Artzy In Bloom Paper Pack. One special thing about this paper is that even the "ends" can be used. That fun dotted line is actually the end where the name of the paper can be found!
Here's a close-up of that adorable puppy!
The Dare 2B Artzy Pet Lovers set has really fun sentiments like this one that I used to decorate the inside:
The Copic Markers I used to color the pup are:
Hearts: R83
Pup: C1, C3, C5, R21
Collar: B32, B34

Hi there, everyone! Making cards is definitely a passion of mine. Some of my favorite projects are those made with vibrant colors and fun graphics - like the colors and graphics that are in Graphic 45 Enchanted Forest! Here's what I made using the 12 x 12 papers for this week's post for Cut@Home:

I'm up over at Oak Tree Stamps today sharing a baby card using the super-cute Baby Bumps Set.
One of my colleagues is having a baby sprinkle next week. I didn't know, but apparently, a "sprinkle" is a shower after the first baby. LOL, cute. She's having a boy, so I made her a card!
The paper I used is from Heartfelt Creations, Birds and Blooms. I colored up that cute preggers woman and colored her with Copic markers as follows:
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check out Oak Tree Stamps for all the new goodies, especially if you're into planners and stickers. They have some really cute new releases!
Today is my FuN post day over at Cut@Home! My post today is all about doilies. I love adding pretty doilies as embellishments to my cards, so I decided to expand that with different types of doilies and came up with the following.
First, here's my video showing you the cards up close:
Masculine cards are hard for me; I know that they are for a lot of you too. The fun and fabulous Dare 2B Artzy Ahoy Fox stamp is perfect for both masculine and feminine cards. Check out what I did:
The paper is from Graphic 45 patterns and solids. I added some pearls and twine just to spice him up. My hubby and I are boaters, so I know he'll love this nautical inspired fox (since that's what my hubs is!!). Here's a close up of the fox that I stamped with Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Ink, and I colored with Copic Markers.

I am so honored to be part of this crazy, crafty team of beautiful artists. I know you'll find such beautiful inspiration along the way! Here's what I created:
I used the fabulous Dare 2B Artzy - Happiness Blooms stamp set along with some Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters collection paper. The stamps are stamped with Dare 2B Artzy black ink and are colored with Copic markers. (This ink is FaB - can use water or alcohol markers!) Here's a close-up of that beautiful flower:
I stamped it three times, colored them, and then fussy cut them. I then popped layers to add the dimension! Fun, fun, fun to color this beautiful detailed flower!
It's so much fun to color, in fact, that I'm going to show off a second card:
The background is Tim Holtz Distress ink and some splatters of Mr. Huey's ink. Such a fun and versatile set!
Your next stop in the hop is Kel's blog! Here's the whole hop order in case you get lost along the way:
I love those tiny dancers! Definitely one of my favorite Oak Tree Stampsets - Moody Ballerina. She is colored up with Copic markers and is the centerpiece of that fun Sizzix Step Up card. The paper is from Heartfelt Creations Majestic Morning collection.
I've got a project up today at Cut@Home that I absolutely love.....because it's about me and a guy I love. I used the beautiful Graphic 45 Mon Amour Collection and a 7Gypsies printers tray to make this:
Here's a close-up of some of the boxes....I used the Sizzix Tim Holtz Tattered rolled flowers - LoVe them!
