In 2005, my DSs and I decided to get a dog. We went to the local animal shelter. I'd told the boys that we should get a small dog. We walked around the shelter looking at the small yappy dogs. Every time, we walked by this big dog, he whined a little and leaned into the gate. We couldn't resist him. We found out later that the reason he leaned against the gate is that one leg is slightly shorter than the other. LOL Goofy dog.
We brought Pete home that day and haven't regretted it for a second. He's a great dog....albeit a little goofy. One day earlier this year, my oldest DS was out goofing with Pete. I started snapping pictures. Pete loves Erik. Erik loves Pete.
