So Proud of My Boy

This week's challenge at There She Goes is a sketch challenge.  Using "Bootcamp" from their stamps, I created a card for my son who is deployed in Korea in the U.S. Army.   I'll send it along with his next care package from home.  Having him be so far away isn't easy, especially with all the scary stuff that is happening in the news these days.....but I really am so proud of my son.  This stamp-set had my name written all over it....and I always feel happy when I create with it, as if I am somehow a boot closer to my boy.

Craftily yours,

Karen

  1. What a wonderful card! I love the skittles that you used. I'm so glad you feel closer to your son when you can create something like this for him. Crafting is great therapy for so many hard things, like having him so far away.

    Best crafty wishes!

  4. And thank you for your son's service - my hubby is in the Air Force, I know how hard it is when they are deployed... :(
