Happy Place

I created a card today for the Crazy4Challenges post to do a card for the great outdoors. One of my favorite things about the great outdoors is flowers!

I used the beautiful new paper from Elizabeth Craft Designs - Rainbow of Happiness. I also used a new stamp set called Gratitude. The flower was stamped on the patterned paper, and I added little dots of Copic marker to give it some dimension. The sentiment is from Pieces of Life 3 - quotes. Love that the collections from Elizabeth Craft Designs can all go together so well.

Join us in the challenge, won't ya?  Thanks for stopping by today!

This week's post was also inspired by Crazy4Challenges - where the challenge this week is to do a card with a pocket!

Holy Cow

Holy Cow! The "Life is Better on the Farm" collection from Elizabeth Craft Designs is SO cute! Here's what I created using the new Cow Dies.

How fun! I love that you can create two very different looking cards using the same sketch and same die. One has a very feminine light feel, and the other has more of a masculine feel....love them both! I'm using the card on the left for the Crazy4Challenge inspiration post to use lime, turquoise and navy for colors. Join us!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Using Stencils (and Flowers)

Today's challenge at Crazy4Challenges is to use a stencil. Challenge accepted!

The stencil I used is part of the Summer Journal Special at Elizabeth Craft Designs, linked up below with the other products I used from ECD.  The washi tape is from my stash. I colored the beautiful flowers design by Anita at Elizabeth Craft Designs with Squeezed Lemonade and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks, and I used Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey with the stencil (with small splatters of Abandoned Coral). The blooming branches die cut is colored with Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles Distress Ink.

This card also was designed using inspiration of Card Sketch #2 in the Creative Paper Addicts Facebook Group!  Fun!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you join our challenge!
