Cute, Cute New Release

There's an adorable new release over at Elizabeth Craft Designs from Joset! Today I used the Gnomes dies and the Holiday Train Dies to create a couple planner pages for my December Daily Planner Album!

I absolutely love this new release! The red page is a page for one of the days (which yet, I don't know!), and the green page is the title page for the book.  The green page is also submitted for inspiration for this week's sketch challenge at Crazy4Challenges.

Sidekick FuN!

I'm posting today at Elizabeth Craft Designs with a couple of Sidekick pages for my "Me and My Guy" journal of adventures. You can click on the link above to learn more about the pages.

I love creating these pages. The last one will be inspiration for next week's Crazy4Challenges challenge to create a card without a stamp.  (Instead I created a page without one...)

Playing with Vellum

Today, I'm posting some cards I made using vellum and fun products from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Wine Tasting Fun

My guy and I were running errands last Saturday, and he said "hey, let's take a break for lunch..."  That break turned into a 3-hour wine tasting adventure all over the county we live in California. I decided to "scrap" it for my Sidekick-sized "me and him" planner. I used the Crazy4Challenges sketch for the first page.

The right side follows the sketch (mostly). On the right side is a picture of the view from the Matchbook Winery. So beautiful.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Hope you join us in the Crazy4Challenges Sketch Challenge this week!

Fun Kings Game

The challenge this week at Crazy4Challenges is all about monochrome. My Sidekick-sized journal page using dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs fits the bill in all purple (except the pictures!). This was a Mom's Day date I had with my guy where I met his sister, mom, dad and friend and we got to see a really fun Sacramento Kings game.

The supplies I used are linked up below.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Something Blue

It's my birthday month - woo hoo!  And I'm pleased as punch to be this month's Crazy4Challenges host. To start off my birthday month, I've challenged everyone to make a card with dark blue (like my birthstone, sapphire). This is my inspiration card:

Love the florals from Elizabeth Craft Designs in dark blue (colored with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink; the green is Peeled Paint Distress Ink). So pretty!  The products from Elizabeth Craft Designs are linked up below.

Places I've Been - Oregon

I'm having such fun reliving some recent journeys for the "Places I've Been" journal. Today's post is about a trip I made to Lincoln City, Oregon about four years ago. My parents were vacationing there, and I decided to go spend a couple days with them. I had the good fortune of getting to see a total eclipse! Here are my planner pages:

More details on how I created these pages can be found on the Elizabeth Craft Design blog. I'm also submitting the "front" page as inspiration for the sunrays post at Crazy4Challenges this week.

Thank you for stopping by!

Mini-Slimline Challenge

This week's challenge over at Crazy4Challenges is to create a mini-slimline card (3" x 6").  Here's what I did for my inspiration card:

The flower dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and are linked up below.  The paper is from a stack I bought at a local craft store.

Stitching Challenge

Today's post is all about sewing over at Crazy4Challenges. I didn't hit the challenge directly on. Rather, I used both stitched dies and stitched ribbons for my sewing.  Here's what I created:

The paper is some that I recently purchased at a craft class. I love the inky-looking background. The flowers were colored with Distress Oxides in Scattered Straw with a smidge of Wild Honey. The leaves are Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn and then I dabbed them onto a Versamark pad and use some Peeled Paint Embossing Glaze to add some texture.

The dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and are linked up below. Thank you for stopping by today!

Cabo!

For my post today at Elizabeth Craft Designs, I created some planner pages from a recent trip to Cabo in Mexico. I wanted to put some memories of this amazing trip both into my "Mike 'n' Me" journal and in my "Places I've Been" journal.  The first is Sidekick sized:

The right (or back-side) of the page is inspired by a Crazy4Challenges sketch this week. This is the "regular" sized page for my "Places I've Been" Journal:

More details can be found on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog. Thank you SO much for stopping by today!

Fun with Farm Dies

I'm still having so much fun with the Life is Better on the Farm Collection from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I made these cards using some old inky backgrounds I found:

I used the Farmer one for this last week's challenge on Crazy4Challenges to do something with a picnic or BBQ.

Thanks for stopping by today. My supplies from Elizabeth Craft Designs are linked up below, and full details on these cards are on their blog today!
