Spring It for Mom

It's Designer Challenge Day at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  Such a fun inspirational post on the blog, and there's a $20 gift card available to win over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  All you have to do is answer a question on their blog!   Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!

This month's challenge to the designers is to use the Scissor Spring Mechanism Die.  This super cool die creates an amazing way to really pop something from your card.

For the front of today's project, I kept it simple using the beautiful Fly & Scrap paper for the background and for a Fitted Circle die cut of the paper.  I used some purple card stock I had and layered the fitted circle onto a Dotted Scallop Circle.  I embellished the front with a flower from the Patchwork stamps and coordinating dies as well as some twine, lace and a button.

And onto the inside where I used the Scissor Spring Mechanism to pop up the adorable birdie from the Patchwork set.

The sentiment "Happy Mother's Day" is die cut using the Words 3-Happy Holidays dies.

Be sure to see all the creations from the Design Team on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today!

Craftily yours,

Karen
