Growing in Unity, Day 2 - Life is Better with Friends

Today, I created a card that is a bit outside my normal wheelhouse using Unity Stamp Company, Spanky!  (I love the name of this stamp-of-the-week set!!)


Eeek, I love that lil bird!  The background of this card is Ken Oliver Color Burst on TH watercolor cardstock.  The birdie is colored with Y06, Y08 and YR16 Copics.  I added some pink Nuvo drops for the heart and some yellow ones to the background.  In both cases, the Nuvo picked up some of the background ink (which is why they are all or partly green.  I thought that was a cool effect.

    Fun way to use this stamp! I really love the background. I have some colorbursts but havent used them yet. They intimidate me for some reason! LOL! You've inspired me to venture out of my comfort zone and try them now! Thank you!
