This month's challenge to the designers is Frame It! Put a frame on something. I decided to put a frame on a frame to create a mini dry-erase board. I purchased a frame at Ikea for $2.50 and glammed it up:
I created a Happy Frame following instructions from Els's Technique video -
found here - using the Thinking About....Polinesia 12x12 paper. Love the polkadots! I created the flowers on the edge embellishment using the Color My Flowers clear stamps and coordinating dies. I colored them with Copic markers:
YG11, YG13, G12, G14, BG02, BG05, B12, B14, Y13, Y15, R81, R83, Y26
The opening in the frame is 5"x7", so for the inside, I stamped the n I stamped the Circles Background stamp, and then moved the paper in my Tim Holtz stamp platform and stamped it again at the bottom. It's a random enough pattern that it wasn't hard to continue it. I then colored the circles with Copic markers:
YG00, B00, BG000, R00, Y00
Here's what it looks like with a note on it. I plan to use it as my status board at work on my door.
