Catching the Big One

My husband loves to fish, so I decided to make up this fun card using paper and stamps from Dare 2B Artzy:

The paper I used is from the Modern Bliss Collection, and the stamp is Gone Fishin'.  Super fun set; I had so much fun coloring him up with the following Copic markers:

Hat:  E41, E43, E53, E55
Fish:  G41, G43, YG03, YG17
Boot:  E21, E23, E25
Shirt: BG72, BG75. BG78
Overalls:  B93, B95, B97
Skin:  E000, E00, E11
Shoes:  W2, W3, BG72, BG75

Sunglasses: C1, C3, C5, C7

Funky Christmas

I am SO excited to be back on the Christmas Card Challenges design team.  This team makes Christmas cards all year long....this way, we don't have to scramble last minute to get our cards done!

My official term doesn't start until next week, but I had a card ready and decided to go ahead and post it for the Anything Goes Challenge!

I colored up this new-to-me Saturated Canary image with the following Copic markers:

Hair:  E31, E33, E35
Eyes:  YG17
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E4, E93
Dress, socks, shoes, ribbons:  YG61, YG63, YG67, BG72, BG75, R35, R37, G05, G07, G29

The paper is from Basic Grey Aspen Frost.  I really LoVe her funky outfit and big feet!  CuTe!

Thanksgiving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!  Feeling thankful for my family and friends today and for some crafty fun time.  Here's what I made for Dare 2B Artzy style:

I used the Dare 2B Artzy Happiness Blooms Set and colored with Copics:
B34, BV11, Y32.  To finish it off, I added some Nuvo drops.  Easy and fun!

Gnome Ellie for Christmas

I recently got a new-to-me Paper Nest Dolls image called Gnome Ellie.  I couldn't wait to color her up.  I'm in a Christmas card making mood, so I holiday'd her up:

A Tiddly Thanks

Tiddly Inks has a new "Thanks Challenge" this week.  With Thanksgiving right around the corner, that's perfect.  Here's what I created with Fairy Fae:

I just love her!  I colored her with the following Copic markers:

Skin:  E00, E11, E13, BV00
Hair:  E23, E25
Flowers, clothes and wings:  R81, R83, R85, YG00, YG03, YG06, V20, V22, V25

The paper is from Heartfelt Creations, Sugar Hollow.  The "thanks" die is from Dare 2B Artzy.  I layered it up three times and covered it with clear Nuvo drops.  I also added some accent Nuvo drops around the flowers.

Troll Girl

Paper Nest Dolls has a new anything goes challenge up on their blog.  It seemed like a fun day to color up Paper Nest Dolls, Troll Ellie.

I had fun playing with some Nuvo drops....and even added some to the spots on her dress.  Love the popping up of her polka-dots.

Artzy Gift Card Holder

Gift cards and cash are a regular gift in my house - my boys like that best!  So, I have to craft them up some gift card holders.  Here's one Dare 2B Artzy style:

I cut a piece of cardstock at 5.5" x 11".  I scored it at 4.25" and again at 8.5".  I taped down the edges inside.  Here's what it looks like:

I literally only had $1 in my purse when I went to take the picture, but I'll add a wee bit more for Christmas morning.  I used the Dare 2B Artzy Holly Days Collection Paper Pack. I love the collection of patterns!  The background paper is so fun.  No need to add a sentiment (unless you want to!).  The adorable penguin and tree are from the Dare 2B Artzy Penguin Fun stamps.
