It's time for a new Designer Challenge over at
Elizabeth Craft Designs! We were challenged to use the General Pop-ups die in our creation! There's a $20 gift card available to win over at the
Elizabeth Craft Designs blog. All you have to do is answer a question on their blog! The question is: "What Elizabeth Craft Designs dies or stamp sets would you use with the General Pop-ups Die set if you were making a Pop Up Card?"
Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!
Here's what I did:
Making the inside of your cards extra special is super easy with the pop-up die. I remember making my first pop-up, all that measuring and creasing. With this die, it's SO simple to do!
And seriously, how cute is that snow globe (cut with the Snowglobe Scene dies)??! It comes with all the pieces you need to make adorable snowglobe scenes. To create my scene, I added a mixture of Kids Choice Glue and Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to the snow die cuts in the set. I added a colored house and trees from the Row Houses Clear Stamps and cut them with the coordinating dies. The colors I used were E31, E33, E35, R35, R37, YG61, YG63, C1, and BG10.
I decorated the inside with the Christmas Collection Clear stamps. The outside circles were die cut with the Stitched Circles die as was the popped up snowflake. The thin inside circle comes with the Snowglobe die.
The card base and accent circle were colored with Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean, Faded Denim and Peacock Feathers.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Craftily yours,
Karen
