Guest Design - Mostly Phyllis Harris Images

It's hard to believe that February is almost over, and with that, this is my last post as Unity Stamp Company's guest designer.  I LoVe Unity Stamps and LoVe the community of Unity Stampers.  YOU have made this month extra special with your bloggy love!  Special thanks to Angela for giving me this fun opportunity and to Lisa Arana for her help!

Today's post focuses mostly on Phyllis Harris images.  I really love her artwork!  Seriously beautiful and talented lady.  This first card uses Unity Stamp Company Determination.  This little fella in his daddy's boots makes me grin.

Next, I used Before I Met You Tiny Dancer....she is SO cute!

AND then, I had to pull out one of my all-time FaVe Phyllis Harris images for this one.  The set is Face the Sunshine.

Have you SHOPPED?!  This weekend, there are stamps that have HUGE discounts and with $60 in purchase, you get this set!  WoW!

Here's a FuN card that I made with the CuTe flower from this set.

The card is loosely based on the sketch in this month's {Be Inspired} Challenge!  Have you entered yet?

Wellllllll, thanks for hanging with me this month and for all your fabulous comments!

Karen

TGIF Sweet Friends

Happy Friday, sweet friends.  Today, I made a card JUST for you!  :)  Ok, I'm lying.  I made it for my Friends with Flair and for my design team post with 3 Girl JAM....but you're still special!

My card today uses 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon in Goblin Green from the Spooky Bundle.  This is one of my favorite crinkle ribbon packs.  I also used some Light and Bright Lace.

The image and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company (tree scene in the May 2010 KOTM and the sentiment is from the April 2013 KOTM.  The paper is from the scrap-drawer mostly.  I colored it with Copics.  The twine is from Timeless Twine.

Be sure to check out the 3 Girl JAM store!  If you use coupon code KN10, you can get 10% off your WHOLE purchase!

And have a lovely weekend.
Craftily yours,

Karen

Unity Hop Thursday

Happily Hopping again as a Guest Designer with the fabulous Unity Stamp Company DT!  LoVe Unity Thursdays - always an inspirational hop and a great SALE!

Unity Stamp Company is getting close to 60,000 FANS on Facebook.  How cool is that!?  To celebrate, check out the FREE (w/ purchase) sentiments and stamps this weekend!  Whoop whoop!

Super CUTE and fun!

Today, I created a couple cards using various stamps from Kits of the Month (KOTM).  For ONLY $26 per month, Unity sends these fabulous sets of stamps to your door each and every month!  If you're a member, you can get past kits for ONLY $26 (plus S&H).

I decided to go with a black/white with just a bit of color theme.

That adorable panda and the strip stamp are from the April 2013 KOTM - You Make My Heart Puffy.  Here's the inside:

The sentiment is from the May 2014 - Hey Girl KOTM.  LoVe this sentiment.  It's what I tell each and every one of my boys because it's true.

And what says Black and White better than weddings.  For my second card, I used again the May 2014 - Hey Girl KOTM

And here's the inside with flowers from the May 2014 KOTM:

I LoVe that sentiment from the May 2010 KOTM.

Don't forget to leave comments on each stop of the hop for YoUr chance at this fabulous prize:

Thanks for stopping by today!

These Boots are Made for Walking AGAIN!

It's a Throwback Thursday over at the Timeless Twine blog!  The task is to use a project from the past and re-do it to make it better.  I went back to February 2013 on my blog and found this:

This was a card I made for my son two years ago when he was graduating from boot camp.  He is still proudly serving in the U.S. Army, and I decided to use that same stamp-set (from There She Goes) and use the general lay-out as inspiration.  Here's what I came up with:

I definitely take better pictures now!  haha  I like the re-worked version with the beautiful Timeless Twine in Cherry Red.  It seems more appropriate in red, white and blue.  Those gold and silver stars are from Bella Creationz and should be posted soon in the embellishments section.

Thanks for going back in time with me today!  Before you go, be sure to "like" the Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz Facebook pages to keep up with all the fun inspiration by the Creative Crew.  Also, be sure to check out all of the fun goodness at the Bella Creationz Etsy Site!

Pixies and Swagger

I'm up on Unity Stamp Company's blog again today with a guest design post. So fun!  My first card uses Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust created by the super-talented Angie Blom.  When this stamp was released, I bought it within 5 minutes of seeing it.  I couldn't resist. It's seriously so cute.  But why tell you, why not SHOW you?!

I just LoVe this stamp!  Did I mention that this adorable Angie's Girl is on SALE?!  The paper here is from Basic Grey Kneehighs.  The lace and ribbon are from 3 Girl JAM, and the pearls are from The Pearl Girl on Facebook!

Since I had the 6x6 pad out, I decided to create another card using another new-to-me stamp - Swagger.

Eeeeek!  This flippin' cute lil dude is created by the simply mah-ve-lous Lisa Arana!  He also happens to be on sale this weekend - until midnight tonight!!   Did I say "SALE"?  I did!  The lace is 3 Girl JAM, and the twine is Timeless Twine in Strawberry Cupcake.
